Skin Treatments
There are many ways to achieve radiant skin and at BMLA we are committed to provide only the best products and services to our clients. We want you to love the skin you are in and may recommend a combination of treatments to achieve the results you desire. We can help you to achieve a healthy, nourished and rejuvenated look using the highest quality products.
Our recommended skincare and make up range (Synergie Skin) is Australian made and owned and is certified cruelty free, founded and formulated by a female scientist using ‘clean science’.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels improve skin texture and tone and lessens the appearance of fine wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven skin colouring and other skin imperfections. They do this by improving natural collagen production, enhancing skin colour and tone and providing a more radiant appearance.
An initial consultation with our Registered Nurse, Kellie Jackson will help to determine the right course of treatments required to achieve results.

• Enzyme Hydropeel (Lactic Acid & Papain) for premature aging, solar damage, dehydration, hyper-pigmentation, enlarged pores and skin congestion).
• Salicylic Acid Peel (5%) for problematic acne, congestion, inflammatory skin concerns.
• Lactic Acid Peel (40%) for premature aging, solar damage, fine lines, dehydration and hyper-pigmentation.
• Layered Peel (Salicylic & Lactic) for problematic acne, congestion, premature aging, solar damage, fine lines, dehydration and hyper-pigmentation.
• Tetra Acid -50 Peel (50% Mandelic, Lactic, Kojic & Malic Acid) for hyper-pigmentation, solar damage, fine lines, acne, congestion, enlarged pores and excess oil flow.
• Jessner Peel (Salicylic, Lactic, Resorcinol, Kojic Acid) for hyper-pigmentation, open pores, excessive oil flow, fine lines, solar damage, congestion and combination skin.

Initially, in the first couple of hours after treatment you may notice that your skin is feeling ‘tingly’ and there may be some redness, this will subside. You may notice over the next couple of days some dryness, irritation or mild swelling.
At 3-5 days your skin will peel and flake away – gently remove the flakes when cleaning your face but avoid pulling the skin off. You may even break out or notice that your skin looks slightly darker than usual.
After 5-7 days your skin will start to feel normal and then you will see the formation of healthy new skin.
Post treatment skincare and the use of mineral make-up is advised after treatment. These are available for purchase at BMLA.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Facial
Also known as a ‘Vampire facial’, this treatment uses your own blood to treat inflammation, stimulate cellular growth, vascularisation, cell proliferation and tissue regeneration. PRP stimulates collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin production which thickens and tightens thinning skin, improving overall skin texture and tone.
PRP can help with wound healing, acne scarring, stretch marks and alopecia (hair loss).

This treatment involves the collection of your blood (approximately 8-10mls). Your blood is then spun in a centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes to separate the plasma and platelet portion of your blood.
The active platelets are then applied back into your skin by way of micro needling or direct injection to problem areas.

You will need to avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid using any skincare products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C or are considered active skincare for at least 2 days post treatment and limit sun exposure for at least 5 days.
You may experience redness and skin tightness for about 24 hours. Post treatment skincare is recommended for use 5-7 days post treatment. This is available for purchase at BMLA.
The Pink Treatment
The Pink Treatment is a potent cocktail serum of 56 active ingredients which when applied to the skin, encourages the regeneration of damaged and destroyed tissues. The treatment is relatively pain free and promotes skin regeneration from the inside out.
The Pink Solution is infused into the skin using a dermal needling device. This treatment assists in keeping the skin healthy, helping to slow the aging process, improving skin elasticity, promoting skin regeneration and repair and improving skin tone and texture. Long term benefits include skin tightening, the dispersion of superficial pigmentation, reduction of acne scarring and collagen induction.

Post treatment skincare is recommended for 3-5 days after treatment. Use of active skin care ingredients should be avoided.
Mineral make up is recommended alongside an SPF to protect the skin.
Skin Tightening
(Low Level Laser)
Our Low Level Laser (LLL) is used to encourage skin tightening at the cellular level. This is a non-invasive alternative to a minor face lift, tightening the skin and providing lift in areas of laxity.
The treatment regime involves two treatments per week for three weeks and then once a week for six weeks.
A treatment every six weeks will then help to maintain results. An anti-aging skincare regime will be recommended after this treatment for ongoing skin care.
